The new strut brace arrived from Good-Win Racing today and I promptly got to the install right after work. As you can imagine, this is a super easy install.
The first step is to remove the original strut brace. Use the 10mm socket to remove the nuts closest to the firewall and remove the center brace. Next use the 14mm socket to remove the nuts holding the brace to the strut tower brace brackets. Once the brace is out then use the 14mm socket to remove the nuts from the shock bolts and remove the strut tower brace brackets.
Set the new brace in place and slightly snug the 15mm nuts onto the shock bolts and the two washers and 13mm nuts on the firewall bolts. Now go back and tighten the shock tower nuts to 30ft-lbs and the firewall nuts to 15ft-lbs. Step back and admire your handywork.
